Amplissime Magistratus! Inaudire nobis licuit: recentissime Ex Consilii Regii locumtenentialis Hungarici eam Benigno-gratiosam ad Comitatum Bacsiensem pertigisse dispositionem; ut Isaacus Kretzmer Chyrurgia Magister a praxi Chyrurgica exercenda in – ex prohibeatur. Quam Benigno-gratiosam Ex Consilii Regii Locumtenentialis Dispositionem quem admodum omni cum humilitate excipimus; ita ab adverso Amplissimo Magistratui declarare debemus, qud nos perspecta memorati Isaaci Kretzmer in pluribus periculosis casibus – qui in sphera officii ejus isthic in gremio occurrerunt – ostensa dexteritate et accuratia eundem – in quo magnam confidentiam habemus – ultro quoque isthic in Gremio in qualitate Chyrurgi habere cupiamus – et exoremus. Quam humillimam Instantiam nostram Ex Consilio Regio Locumtenentiali Hungarico comite favorabili opinione sua dum submitti exoraremus – Gratiosis favoribus commendari omni cum venerationis cultu perseveramus. We received the news that, based on the recent decision of the Council of Lieutenancy of the Kingdom of Hungary, an order arrived to Bačka County to ban surgeon Isaac Kretzmer (Isaacus Kretzmer) from further practice of surgery. We humbly accepted this well-intentioned decision of the Council of Lieutenancy of the Kingdom of Hungary, and yet, for our part, we must inform the exalted Magistrate that, since we are convinced of the skill and precision of the said Isaac Kretzmer in many various dangerous cases – which happened in the city community during his duty, that we have great trust in him and that we want to have him as a surgeon in our community, so we ask that it be so. Therefore, on this occasion as well, we submit a humble request to the Council of Lieutenancy of the Kingdom of Hungary to do as it pleases with its expert opinion. Always humble and at your service, in Sombor on February 28, 1826. We received the news that, based on the recent decision of the Council of Lieutenancy of the Kingdom of Hungary, an order arrived to Bačka County to ban surgeon Isaac Kretzmer (Isaacus Kretzmer) from further practice of surgery.
