512.1846 Tekintetes Tanáts Kegyes Uraim! Alább meg írt bízván a Tekintetes Tanáts kegyébe, s igazság szeretetébe alázsan folyamodni bátorkodik, miszerint e városban állandóúl lakhatni, neki megengedni kegyeskednék; mit annál is inkább megnyerni reménye van; minthogy olly mesterség teljes tudásával bír, amelyet nem csak Zombor, de több jeles városai is hazánknak nélkülözik, s ez kordován festő -…- Melly mesterség nem csak a helybeli adózó mesterségek olcsóbb s kényelmesebb üzhetése de e városbani ipar előmozdítására is szükséges, így e városban majdnem nélkülözhetetlen. Ami pedig maga viseletét illeti az eléggé kiviláglik a Szontha helység Előljáróitól nyert ˙/. alatt ide mellékelt ajánló levélből. Nem akarván tehát vissza élni a Tekintetes Tanács béketürésével a fentebb említett okokat elegendőknek véli kérésének megnyerhetésére. Továbbá magát a Tekintetes Tanács pártfogásába ajánlva van. Which craft is not only cheaper and more suitable for running local taxed crafts, but is also needed to improve the city's industry, so being to this city almost necessary. As for his rule, it is clear from the attached letter of recommendation from the mayor of Sonta. Not wanting to abuse the patience of the Noble Council, he considers that the above reasons are sufficient to accept his request. Further, it is placed under the auspices of the Noble Council.
