Városi kapitányi hivatal ezen ügyet szóbelileg tárgyalás alá vévén meggyőződött arról, hogy ezen közösségnek egy része orthodoxá nyilvánítatván, az alapszabályzat ellátván van és miután ezen hit felekezetek közt felmerült viszályok elintézése a magyar és osztrák országos kir. autonom hitfelekezetnek közvetitő bizottság illetőségében tartozik fó szeptember 5-én kelt 2556 sz.a. mellékelt végzésével őket ezen bizottságba utasított. Véleményünk szerint a kapitányi hivatal ezen végzése ugyan alapos, de hiányos, mert sem ezen tanátsnak sem pedig a városi kapitányi hivatalnak arról hivatalos tudomása nincsen, hogy itt helyütt izraelita orthodox hitközség létezik, mert mindekkori az erre vonatkozó szabályok a városi tanátsnak írásban be nem mutattak minnél fogva ezen hitközség mint ilyen ezen hatóság előtt nem tekinthető. Hiányosnak tartjuk a kapitányi hivatalnak az eljárását a végből is mert ezen ügynek tárgyaltatása iránt a jegyzőkönyv nincsen felvéve és azon körülmény sincs kiemelve, hogy ki által lett képviselve az állítólag itthelyütt fennálló orthodox hitközség, és valjon Schönberger Samu azon hitközség megbízásából méri e a húst. Mindezeknél fogva bátrak vagyunk véleményünkkel odajárulni, miszerint a kapitányi hivatalnak ezen végzése feloldandó és ugyanezen hivatal oda lenne, hogy ezen ügyet ujonnan tárgyalás alá vegye, és szabályszerűen eljárván, s minden tény körülményeket kiemelvén, tekintettel az ez ügyben fenálló rendeletekre új végzést hozzon. Ministry of Religion and Public Education on September 20th of this year, sent a letter under number 23670, asking for a report and opinion on the submission of the Sombor Jewish community, in which it complains about the newly formed Orthodox community for holding a special shaker. Ø An order was issued to the City Captaincy to give an opinion on that issue as soon as possible, together with the presentation of their decision. In addition to presenting the statement and decision attached under number 5227 of November 10 of the current year, I am fortunate to officially report the mutual objection arising from the split of the Jewish religious community in Sombor, that I was serving a circular letter of the Minister of Religion of November 15, 1871 under number 26915, and that decided in favor of the Sombor religious community to the detriment of the orthodox side. City captain The Ministry of Religion and Education Due to the high decree number 23670 of September 20 of the current year, we dare to inform you with official humility that the local Jewish community on August 16 of the current year under number 2556 filed a complaint to the city captaincy that Samu Schönberger measures kosher meat and asked for the slaughter knife to be confiscated and removed from the measurement of that meat. We consider the procedure of the captaincy to be incomplete from the end, because the minutes of the debate on this issue were not kept and the circumstance was not pointed out when the alleged local orthodox Jewish community was presented and whether Samu Schoenberger measured meat on the order of this religious community. For all these reasons, we have bravely taken the position that this order (decision) should be revoked and that the office should take this case into consideration again and, as a rule, pointing out all the facts and taking into account the regulations related to this case, bring a new solution.
