Alázattal alulírottnak leánya: Kánn Helena menyasszonynak eljegyeztetvén, de mostoha anyagi helyzetemnél fogva ma férjhez nem adhatom.
Ennélfogva legillőbb tisztelettel az iránt esedezem: miszerint tekintettel szerény anyagi helyzetemre, tekintettel arra, hogy leányom erkölcsi tekintetben kifogástalan - részére a „Stein Johanna féle kiházasítási alapítványból” o.é.200 forintot adományozzon, és a hozandó határozatról engem értesíteni méltóztassék.
