Amplissime Magistratus!

Eritibus Judaorum mihi constat, quod ii cadavera demortuorum suorum non uno eodemque modo humi mandare possint. Hinc lege quasi cautum habent, ut quosdam, in certo morbi genere defunctos illico ac expiranerint, domo esserre ac terminata lotione nuctioneque cadaveris inhumare illud cogantur . Ideo in aliis civitatibus ac locis, ubi copiosiores existent, in cemeterio reclinatorium erectum habent, in quo cadaver eo usque asservatur, donec omnes cerimonio funebrales peracta non fuerint. Hec cadaverum e domibus, ad illud reclinatorium, translation quum …. publico admodum proficua habeatur, simulque altioribus ordinibus per id satisfiat, censorem nostrantibus quoque Judeis imponi debere, ut ii sese juxta ritus suos ad normam aliarum civitatum accomodando, in cemeterio hio, ad reclinatorium seu cameram mortuorum erigendant adv…..neantur, ac nicitentur. Hoc dum officiose substerno sum.

Amplissimi Magistratus
Servus humillimus

Ad Amplissimum Magistratum Liere Regieque Civitatis Zombor, physici Civitatis officiosa remonstration ut Judaei in cemeterio suo ad cameram, sui dictam mortuorum erigandam exstinualentur.
Exalted Magistrate!

It is insulted according to Jewish customs that they cannot bury the bodies of their dead in the same way that is innate in other religions. Therefore, as the law requires, it is obligatory for those who suffered and died from a certain disease to be taken out of the house immediately and buried after the washing of the body and speech. Therefore, in all cities and places where the rich live, there is a chapel in the cemetery where the body is kept until all funeral customs are completed. In order to consider this transfer of the body to the chapel quite suitable for the preservation of public health and in accordance with the higher provisions that take care of it, it is necessary to appoint a domestic supervisor to the Jews, that they should be adapted to the norms of other cities. and encourage the erection of a reclinator or chapel in his cemetery. I officially submit this as a humble servant of the exalted Magistrate

Mathias Log (Matija Log)....
........ doctor

To the exalted Magistrate of the free royal city of Sombor, the official complaint of the city doctor that the Jews should be encouraged to build a chapel in their cemetery.
