Sigilatum Zombor
Die 14a Martii 1798 Per Cassa Perceptoratus Oficium
Basilius Athanatskovits perceptor
Wise and esteemed, which we highly respect!

Since His Majesty generously determined, again showing his tolerance and peacefulness, that Jews should pay the annual Tolerance Tax to the City Magistrate's Office, both domestic and fiscal, and the annual contribution. It is now ordered to the said City Magistrate to, regarding the information from Table B, and on the basis of the annual books, cancel what is the usual tax for both coffers, so that Jewish landlords, who may have certain royal privileges or who pay rent tax, due to some other privileges, could notify this Council of Lieutenancy of the Kingdom within one month what exactly are they obliged to pay for both coffers. Issued by the Council of Lieutenancy of the Kingdom of Hungary, in Buda on January 16, 1798.
