Dem bacser Comitat! Die an dieses Comitat unteren 24ten März d. J. ergangen verordnung, womit die beschaftenheit der alldort besthenden Judenbruderschaften untersucht, indessen aber daß bey derselben vorräthig befundenes Geld in die Gemeindekasse eingetragen werde, hat selbes mittelst der erstatteten Auskunft erlediget. So viel aus derselben bemerket wurde so sind diese Bruderschaften aus biebe des nächstens entstanden, die durchgemässigte Beyträge der Judenschaft unterstüzet werden Auf das hierüber höchsten Orts erstattete gutachten haben eur. Majs. folgendes gnädigst zu entschliessen geruhet, und zwar: 1mo Daß der kaum Bruderschaft auf zuhören habe und der bisher von den verbrüderten versoene geschechene beytrag, auch von andere in den mittel des brts, und der gemeinde sich befindenden gliedern ohne zwang geleistet werden könne, so daß dieses Institut in eine förmliche armen und kranckenpflege ungeschaft werde. 2do Diese in der Synagog sowohl, als anderwärts gesammelte bereits vorhanden Geld, und Kapitalien, so wie die nach weiters eingehenden Gelder, müssen nicht in die gemeindkasse hinterleget, sondern in fundo publico angelegt werden, zu welchem ende sothanes Geld an das nächste ... 30igst oder saas ...schafts amt erlegt, und aus dessen 3io Interessen nicht nur allein daß zur pflege der Armen bestehende Haus, oder sogenanten Spital unterhalter, sondern auch die Kösten auf die beerdingung der verstorbene bestritten, und die beausgabung der empfangenen Interessen verrechunt werden muß. Welche allerhächsten entschließung diesen Komitat mit dem Auftrag bedeudet wird, womit selbes dafür allerdings sorgen solle, daß selbe in allen Punkten auf das genaueste also gleich in vollzug gesetzt, und die ob specificirte beträg, den nächsten caab amte übergeben werden. Anbey gewärtiget man, jedoch von diesen Komitat den Bericht darüber, was der Betrag der vorhandenen bruderschaften gelden so wohl, als auch der aus den zu veräußerenden geräthschaften eingelöste fond ausmache, und bey welchen kaas amt sothane gelder erlegt worden seyn. In the meantime, the found money was entered into the municipal treasury, which was done on the basis of the submitted information. As far as we know, these fraternities were formed thanks to the modest contributions of the Jewish community. Your Majesty has kindly taken the liberty of resolving the following in response to the expert opinion given in the highest position, namely: 1mo That the fraternity must stop collecting, and that the contribution it has given so far can also be collected without compulsion from members of the fraternity and other members of the community, in order for this institution to become an official institution in charge of the poor and the sick. 2do Money and capital collected in the synagogue and elsewhere, as well as money that is yet to be collected, must not be deposited in the municipal treasury, but in a public fund, in which it will be disposed of by the economic service, and from its 3io Interest must be compensated not only the house intended for the care of the poor, but also the maintenance of the so-called hospital, as well as the costs of burying the deceased and calculating the expenses of the interest received. This high decree is sent to the county for execution, and which is obliged to apply it in all points with the greatest precision, as well as to hand over a certain amount to the next office. This county is expected to report on the amount of funds of the fraternities, then the funds from the alienation of equipment, as well as to which service such funds have been deposited.
